Damn, I just realised something crazy… So, two years ago, I went to 2000trees and as always, I do just a little bit of research into whoever’s playing that year. Every Hell stood out to me as a solid act but I’ve only just remembered why: this band’s line-up consists of two former Black Peaks members (vocalist Will Gosden and bassist Andrew Gosden) amongst Toby Stewart on guitar and Mark Roberts, who’s produced for acts such as Jamie Lenman and Delta Sleep, on drums. So, this is basically a totally under-the-radar supergroup of alternative math-acts! Ha! And I only just remembered! Stupidest thing is, I had forgotten I actually went to see them at the festival that year as well! Could you believe it? If only I had picked up on their tunes after I went to see ’em ‘cos I’ve been digging ‘Freaking Out’ in particular for a good few months now.
