I’ve been listening to a lot of Eidola again recently and one particular song off of their 2021 album ‘The Architect’ constantly reminds me of this one specific tune… See, as soon as ‘Occam’s Razor‘ unfolds, which is just a mere ballad to end the first half of the album, I get instantly reminded of Marmozets’ ‘Cry’ off of debut album ‘The Weird And Wonderful Marmozets‘. Playing both songs after one another tells me they have barely anything in common with each other but I happily take this as a good excuse to share this emotional song on the blog today over any of the Brits’ latest singles which sadly haven’t really done anything for me. Perhaps sharing ‘Cry’ on the blog can be seen as my way of manifesting some epic new tunes to be released again soon. After all, Marmozets’ first new album since 2018 – ‘CO.WAR.DICE.’ – is set to be dropping in about 2,5 months from now and I certainly will be listening to it so it better be featuring plenty of great songs, or else…
