#2927: Eidola – Counterfeit Shrines

Hope you’ve been enjoying your Easter weekend or, otherwise, just regular weekend. I’ve spent mine putting down a new floor in my living room which turned out to be a somewhat time consuming task. Who’d have thought, eh? It’s the final step towards a great new living space and I’m super excited to finish this step. At the end of this week, we’ll finally be able to move all our personal belongings from the storage unit into our new house! I can’t wait to spend my days around the stuff that’s dearest to me again and I will finally be able to play my records again, too! It’s been almost 9 months since I last had the opportunity to spin one of my beloved vinyl. 9 months!!! I wonder which one I will play first… Over the course of the last few months, I did buy myself a serious handful of new albums on vinyl so I might have to kick-off spinning one or two fresh ones, first. One of the many new records in my collection is Eidola’s 2021-album ‘The Architect’, an album by a band I’ve been listening to for so many hours over recent history, yet I’ve never been able to play them on my own sound system. It’s going to be proper special hearing some of my favourite songs being blasted into my living room. I can’t wait!
