Today’s a special day ‘cos for the first time in almost 9 months, I will finally be surrounded by all my own belongings again! After moving back from England, we had to store (most of) our personal items and furniture in a storage unit but now that we’ve finished renovating our living room, we have deemed this day the one where we can move all our stuff into the new place! There’s still plenty of work left to be done in the rest of our house, but this milestone is one we were hoping to celebrate for a while already so we’re super excited to be able to properly make the place our own now. I’ve learned to be patient and temper my eagerness throughout the process of moving, buying a house, and renovating it. If it were up to me, I’d put all my items up the day we got the keys of the house but looking back, I’m obviously really glad we didn’t since it made fixing (this part of) the place a lot easier. I guess, as long as you keep your eyes on the prize, it’s all pretty manageable. Or, shall I say: keep your ‘Eyes On The Fireworks’?
