There’s a couple of acts on this year’s line-up I have already seen live a few times. Many of our before mentioned favourites such as Fat Dog and Fontaines D.C., for example. Same goes for YARD, who tore down The Shacklewell Arms earlier this year. Not quite knowing anything other than ‘They played Eurosonic‘ and ‘This band contains former members of Gurriers’, I was quite surprised when I set foot into what was nothing short of a Friday night rave. YARD turned out to be blasting techno beats with the additional noisy riffs into our ears and as entertained as I was confused, I headed off not quite knowing what I thought of it. I guess I will have to see YARD once more before I can make my mind up.
