For the second year in a row now, I find November to be a month where I’m laser focused on setting up the blog’s December month. As mentioned before, it means certain November releases won’t be featured into the End of Year special due to them not having enough time to make a lasting impact on my year although that’s not my biggest worry. Honestly, my main scare is the fact that certain albums will be snowed under by all the other 2025 releases I’ll be listening to during this and next month. This increases the chances of me completely overlooking some albums, which makes me sad! After all, I love listening to great new music. Therefore, I’m spending today listening to some brand new albums that have been released over the last couple of weeks to try and stay up to date on the latest and greatest. Right now, Glitterer’s album ‘erer’ is being played here at home. Former Title Fight bassist and vocalist Ned Russin’s band has dropped their fourth album just 8 days ago and sounds like a proper follow up of ‘Rationale’, the 2024-album that grew on me quite a bit this year.

I get what you mean — November is that stressful moment in the year where the amount of new music starts to feel like homework… but the fun kind i secretly love doing.
I’m putting together my own 2025 top-10 as well (list-maniac is apparently my middle name), and every time i think ‘okay, this is it!’… another release comes along to shake everything up again.
Keep going — your dedication to discovering great new music makes the whole end-of-year madness so much fun to follow.
