After a mammoth journey spanning over close to 18 hours, me and my friends have arrived in the lovely country that is Japan. A short overnight stop in the city of Kagoshima meant our travel continued today, by boat, sailing towards Yakushima. Here, we will be spending the following few nights as we hike ourselves a way over the beautiful green mountains that this island is overflowing with. I’ve already canoed on the river down here at the bottom of our stunning forest lodge so it seems like the fairy dust will continue to sprinkle all over us in this magical place we find ourselves in. What a time to be alive!

Side note: I’m casually thinking of turning Jam of Today into somewhat of a music/travel blog the coming few weeks, but on the other hand do I not feel too bothered about logging every single step I do and I might feel like keeping it quite casual at times. So, yeah. Let’s just see how it goes! The less commitments, the better.
