I spent my final day in Tokyo in a very similar way as  I did two days ago: by wasting many of my precious hours trying to do some shopping and ending up with absolutely nothing. This time, however, I had my mind set on getting a few goodies of some certain anime shows I really enjoy. Sadly for me, these particular shows are not the newest and most popular ones being broadcasted right now so finding anything worth taking home was borderline impossible. I did see one amazing figurine, though its price tag was way above my range. Other than that one figurine, I ended up walking through many of Akihabara’s and Nakano’s stores, only to leave with a consistently larger growing frown upon my face each time I exited the particular establishment. Sigh. Well, at least I already gathered more than enough souvenirs during this trip, or so I realised as I packed my bags for the final leg of our trip. Starting tomorrow, we’ll be spending a little bit of time north of this metropolis, only to return to Tokyo the day before we head back home. Only a few days are left on our trip so let’s try and squeeze this epic journey for all it has to offer.
