A fun little bonus for me having gone on holiday right as spring hit, is that the neighbourhood I recently moved into looks completely different than it did when I left! The trees and vegetation have completely blossomed now which makes for an amazingly green view into our street and therefore into our house, too! I just reminded myself how much I enjoy the spring and summer seasons. These seasons really accentuate the green in this particular area which fills me with so much happiness. I figured to exploit my joy by going on a stroll through my neighbourhood. As always, I ended up walking way further than I initially planned to but thanks to that, I did find some fun hidden spots and areas I wasn’t aware of. I topped it off by having a cold bevvy on the balcony right as I came back. A great, lovely (pre-)summer afternoon, if you ask me.
