Anticipation is rising, as 2000trees announced their final two acts of this year’s line-up! Joining fan favourites such as Alkaline Trio, Funeral For A Friend, and Neck Deep will be Tigercub – whose album ‘Nets to Catch the Wind’ I recently dubbed as one of my favourites of 2026 so far – and Static Dress, another soon-to-become household name in 20s UK metal. Static Dress has been playing many festivals I’ve attended over the last few years and I’m very aware of their popularity in the scene, yet I’ve never gotten into them. Maybe this’ll be the year for me to start appreciating the Leeds band, starting off with this 2024 single which has been on my radar for a while now.
