Felt a bit deflated today. Struggled with my allergies throughout basically the entirety of the night, leaving me a bit mopey and down for the rest of the day. It’s just so frustrating being allergic to nature! Like, honestly. Couldn’t I just be allergic to something I can easily avoid?! After a few hours of wallowing in irritation and annoyance, I regained some motivation and courage to tackle the outside world (‘cos, you know, the weather’s still absolutely fantastic) and take the allergies on the chin as I went for a little walk around the block. Yeah, it was nothing special, but it felt nice to enjoy the weather on this little walk after feeling exasperated all day. This absolute classic album accompanied me on my little stroll and it easily made for my highlight of this otherwise pretty nondescript Monday.
