Been listening to math rock icons The Number Twelve Looks Like You quite a lot today. Gave their 2019 album ‘Wild Gods’ a spin or two and also took a big liking to ‘Indeciso’, the band’s most recent release (2025) which shows they certainly still know how to make an amazingly technical song. Also, I today learned that the band’s lead singer Jesse Korman is married to… Eva Korman, also known as Eva Spence, singer of Rolo Tomassi! Funny when two musical worlds collide – although both bands are very notorious in the math scene so you can hardly call it a surprise that they are aware of each other’s existence. Funny nonetheless.
