Big city life! Honestly, what a difference it is to the calm and collected rural experiences we’ve had so far. We traveled from Kitakyushu to Hiroshima today – two cities in their own right bigger than any in my motherland – and the adjustment was quite intense, having to deal with people mostly minding their own business and tourists sprawling left right and centre. On the flip side, cities give you a lot more opportunity to live a spontaneous life, or so we experienced tonight as our group split in two. Having half a group willing to hit the gym, me and the boys hit town without a plan and ended up having a great time, finding some great goodies and smashing some delicious food. Ending our night drinking a cold beverage at the waterside and accidentally stumbling upon our mates made this night into a brilliant one.
