Ever since my holiday, I’ve gotten into the habit of writing my blog posts quite late in the evening. While being in Japan, this turned out to be most convenient for more than one reason. Firstly would I be able to tell you all about the fun things I’d experienced on a specific day, and secondly would the release of set blog post be in a very convenient world wide time zone. The latter is something I don’t have to worry too much about anymore (I haven’t found a way to attract many visitors hailing from the far eastern countries on our planet yet) but I do still kind of like the idea of reflecting on my day this way. It turns Jam of Today a bit more into a diary rather than just a platform for me to share my favourite music on. It does come with some downfalls, one being that I could more easily forget to write a blog post, especially during nights where I have an event planned. In true Jam of Today fashion, I will probably just take it as it comes and see where it’ll end up. On the topic of reflecting on my day: I went to a Japanese market in the city of Leiden today. We figured we hadn’t had enough of it yet, ha! While the market was cute and fun, there wasn’t much of interest for us personally so we only lingered around for an hour or so before going for a stroll through what is easily one of my favourite cities in The Netherlands. If you ever visit from abroad: be sure to check out Leiden. A lovely place filled to the brim with amazing streets and houses, much more worth a visit than most advertised tourist traps. I’ll be enjoying my bank holiday Monday by going for a stroll in the small town of Bussum so you might be treated to another riveting review tomorrow. Stay tuned!
