Time to share some new music on the blog again! It’s been a hot minute after all. I’ve been listening to a lot of old-school underground Dutch hardcore (rap/hip-hop and punk) this week – I even just got back from the Neuk! show right around the corner from where I live – but this morning on my way to work, I found a spare moment to check out some new releases and right off the bat, I got taken by surprise by seeing unpeople had released a fresh tune in ‘friends’. Actually, it turned into an even bigger surprise for me since the band had dropped ‘clouds‘ at the end of April already, as well. So, we can safely say ‘friends’ is the British band’s second new single ahead of their freshly announced debut album ‘we are unpeople’, to be released all the way in October. This album will also include hit singles ‘the garden‘ and ‘waste‘, though the latter might appear on the album wearing a re-recorded coat. Plenty of time to ponder on this one. It’ll take a while ’til it’s here but at least I’ve got something to look forward to now. I’m almost certain this will be a fantastic album.
