One of the hottest new music items of this month must be Bring Me The Horizon’s latest single ‘Dehumanized’, a song which the Oli Sykes fronted group recorded as part of their forthcoming re-release of ‘Count Your Blessings’. The somewhat conspicuously called ‘Repented’ version of the band’s debut album will be out at the start of July and will be marking the 20th anniversary of ‘Count Your Blessings’. Striking detail for those that don’t know Bring Me The Horizon all too well: ‘Count Your Blessings’ is nothing short of a deathcore album, the genre that the band started off in. After cruising past many types of -core, it seemed like Bring Me The Horizon had settled for a more popular leaning metal sound but with the release of this song, it shows that they still got it. Yeah, ‘Dehumanized’ is another straight up no-nonsense deathcore song and honestly, I didn’t think Oli would still have it in him. Fair play. This also instantly turns ‘Dehumanized’ into one of the best songs the band has released in a long time.
