Heading down to the Cotswolds today to kick-off my next festival of 2026: 2000trees! I’m treating myself to one more night in a hotel before suffering on the most likely sweltering hot campsite for 3 nights. At least I don’t have to go through the efforts of setting up the tent myself as I rented one on site already. Being all by myself during the festival makes for a good opportunity to see more bands perform than I ever have at a music festival so I naturally can’t wait to see what amazing new artists I’ll discover. Trees‘ line-up is always packed with some of the hottest up and coming talents within the rock and metal realms so chances are likely I’ll go back home next week with a rich offering of newly discovered acts to listen to. Here’s a group I saw perform at Trees a hot minute ago already, back in 2023, playing an opening slot at 11 in the morning in the metal/hardcore tent called The Cave.
