As many bands I usually tend to discover during the festivals I visit, I’m probably missing out on an equal amount of awesome acts, too. One of these cool groups I missed out on this year is Bleech 9:3, who were playing both 2000trees and Haldern Pop. I only learned of this band’s existence ahead of Haldern Pop, therefore not being aware they played my favourite music festival in the Cotswolds, too. My mates were pretty hyped up to see Bleech 9:3 play in Germany but I didn’t manage to catch their set. Something I came to regret today, since I spun their self-titled debut EP and took a bit of a liking to it! Especially opening song and debut single ‘Jacky’ stood out to me as a refreshing tune. Sad I didn’t manage to catch them play live but I’ll definitely keep an eye out for this band, nonetheless.
