Bleech 9:3 is cooking up a storm. It seems like every time this band drops a new single, their potential immediately skyrockets to new highs. Yet again, with the release of ‘Tourniquet’, praise is due, though funny enough I actually had to warm up to ‘Tourniquet’ a little at first (read: I had to listen to it twice before liking it). The initial factor that made me not instantly grab on to it – a sense of repetition in its instrumentation – eventually turned into a selling point for me in this phenomenally somber yet elegant love song. Bleech 9:3 continues to surprise me with their remarkable synergy between vocals, instrumentation, and general musical sound. I think this band is really on to something.
