#2957: Fontaines D.C. – In The Modern World

Today marked our second day in the fishing town of Nachikatsuura and one of only few opportunities for me to go out and casually explore a town on my own. I grasped this moment to wander around some of this town’s streets and whereas you might secretly hope this would lead to some unique encounters and unheard stories, I didn’t really witness anything out of the ordinary here in this sleeping town. Either way, it was nice to kick back for a bit and enjoy the calmness while a somewhat daunting destination lurks upon us: Tokyo. We still have a few days left until we reach the metropolis thus I’m trying to enjoy meeting the locals in these town’s izakaya’s as much as possible, which is exactly what me and my mates have been doing tonight. We just arrived home from a memorable one and sure do hope we will have recovered well enough tomorrow before hopping on a 4+ hour car ride to an old familiar place…
