A late one today, as I just got back from seeing Kevin Morby live in Amsterdam. Morby’s music is not really something I’d play frequently at home, yet I’ve seen the American singer-songwriter perform twice now. Both times, I found myself pleasantly surprised with the artist’s performance and music, though I do feel like his music will resonate more with me when actually attending his shows. See if this Jam can make a dent in that experience and open myself up to his songs a bit more outside of the live realm. ‘100,000’ is taken off of Morby’s latest album ‘Little Wide Open’ as released via Dead Oceans on May 15th of this year.
